Stephen Baldock - Biography

For Stephen Baldock, carving is art, relaxation and a passion.

Stephen's grandfather interested him in carving when Stephen was only 13 but he didn't take up carving seriously until 2002. Since then, he's progressed from the novice to open category in Canada, taking more than 40 ribbons in shows in and around his home town of London, including:

  • Best of Class, Beginner, 2004, Kitchener, Ontario
  • Best of Class, Novice, 2004, Wye Marsh, Ontario
  • Second Best of Class, Novice, 2005, Kitchener, Ontario
  • Best of Class, Intermediate, 2005, Wye Marsh, Ontario

    For the past five years, Stephen has travelled to Ocean City, Maryland to participate in the annual world-wide carving competition there. His his goal to win a master's title in the competition.   Here is Stephen's track record thus far at the World Competition:
